In order to give patients the results they deserve it's important that the dentist educate the patient enough that the patient is capable of accurately communicating their desires. It is impossible for a ceramist to deliver what a patient wants if the dentist can't communicate that information. Sometimes it's useful for the patient and the ceramist to have direct communication. Even if a patient knows what they want, they often have to be educated into being able to communicate their thoughts and desires.
